Welcome to the Etobicoke Master Gardeners. We cover the geographic area of West Toronto and garden in zone 5b and 6a. We are bounded by Toronto Master Gardeners to the East and Mississauga Master
Gardeners to the West.
MOTIVATING and INSPIRING GARDENERS OF ONTARIO
Master Gardeners of Ontario is a volunteer organization comprised of individuals who are certified horticultural experts and who provide in depth sustainable gardening information to the general public.
HOW MASTER GARDENERS CAN HELP YOU
There are a number of ways that Master Gardeners and Master Gardeners in training can help service their communities. Typical activities include:
1. Conducting advice clinics at local events;
2. Answering e-mail and telephone hot-line enquiries;
3. Organizing educational programs for children, adults, and seniors;
4. Giving horticultural presentations/ workshops/ demonstrations;
5. Developing displays;
6. Writing media articles.
